Warren Causey

Warren B. Causey is a member of Five Point Partner's Strategy, Research & Advisory division and is located in Atlanta, GA.  Previously, he was the founder, President and CEO of Warren B. Causey, Ltd., a utility research, analysis and consulting firm headquartered in Dallas, GA, and subsequently was with Energy Central's Sierra Energy Group as Vice President for Research and Analysis for five years. He has been a researcher/writer/analyst for more than 40 years, and is the author of more than three-dozen published books and hundreds of magazine articles. He has worked with technology for more than 35 years and in utilities for nearly 20 years. He has been on the Internet since it was a top-secret military operation called ARPANet in the 1970s. He is retired from the U.S. Army Reserve, a decorated veteran of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, a part-time United Methodist Pastor and a private sport pilot.

Bart Thielbar

Vice President

Bart Thielbar is a member of Five Point Partner's Strategy, Research & Advisory division and is located in Minnesota.  Formerly, he was the founder and president of Itility Solutions, LLC. As a former utility CIO and a past chair of the Edison Electric Institute’s (EEI) and American Gas Association’s (AGA) Technology Advisory Council, Thielbar is intimate with the opportunities and challenges facing the utility industry today. Having led several successful system implementation and conversions throughout his career, he is well versed in the challenges and opportunities inherent to information technology initiatives. He is a published author and frequent speaker on issues related to utility automation and holds his Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
