The Five Point Partners’ Executive Summit

The industry is filled with priority projects. Among other things, utilities are working diligently to ensure adequacy of rates, prudent supply portfolios, efficiency of operations, enhanced relationship with consumers and, in many cases, implementation of smart grid technologies. It is a busy time for utility executives and the pressure to get things right has never been greater, especially in consideration of the economic conditions throughout the country. As the traditional silos within utilities continue to break down, the need for senior executives to come together for dialogue and direction has never been greater.

The Five Point Partners Executive Summit aims at bringing together senior leaders from within the utilities industry and government to discuss how to work more effectively together toward Smart Grid success. The conference focuses on key industry issues and trends that range from IT to Customer Care to the current regulatory climate.

The one day event will be moderated by industry experts Warren Causey and Bart Thielbar, Practice Leads at Five Point Partners.

Keynoting the dinner on October 11, 2010 is the Chairman of the Public Utility Commission of Texas, Mr. Barry Smitherman.

PLEASE NOTE: Attendance at this event is strictly limited to utility CEOs, COOs, CIOs and their direct reports, or sponsors of the event. Personnel of non-sponsoring vendors, other than vendors who have a current, on-going client relationship with the Five Point Partners’ Strategy Research & Analysis Division (SRA), are not eligible to attend this event.

Gulf Coast Oil Spill

Five Point Partners will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the Executive Summit to the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s (GNOF) Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund. The Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund was established by the GNOF to help support organizations that are providing critical services to fishermen and their families.
