Jim Sessoms

Chief Financial Officer

Jim Sessoms is the Chief Financial Officer of Five Point Partners and is responsible for the internal operations.  Jim's exerience consists of management consulting, systems implementation, and various entrepreneurial endeavors.

Jim began his career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) working within the information systems consulting practice for the Atlanta office. He continued his consulting career at Ernst & Young, where he was a Manager within the Process Improvement consulting practice.

Jim opted to leave Ernst & Young to join Kurt Zuch (CEO of Five Point) to become a co-owner of Pathways Consulting, where he was responsible for helping to grow the business and managing internal operations. Pathways was sold in 1996 to then publicly-traded Computer Management Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:CMSI).

In 1999, Jim accepted a position as Vice President at Excelergy Corporation, a start-up utility software company located in Boston. Jim assisted in forming and managing the Atlanta office, which hosted the professional services division of the company. After leaving Excelergy, Jim founded and grew a homebuilding company and a land development company.

In 2010, Jim joined Five Point Partners to design and develop a cloud-based proprietary software product, then over time assumed responsibility for the internal operations area of the company as the Chief Financial Officer.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia. Jim has passed the Certified Public Accountant’s (CPA) exam, as well as the Certified Internal Auditor’s (CIA) exam.
